About Us

HPM is a General Contractor headquartered in Englewood, Colorado that was founded in 2016 by a core group of personnel that left a Top 5 ENR contracting giant to pursue a dream of their own. Together, they brainstormed ways they could combine the standards and professionalism of a large firm with the dedicated service and hands-on approach of a local firm.

Armed with over a century of combined construction experience they had a singular mission to pursue: to be the most innovative, forward-focused, full-service general contractor in the public and private markets that is employee-driven and committed to the communities they serve.

Testimonials

HPM completed the redevelopment of John Meade Park, the main park in Cherry Hills Village. They exceeded our expectations, communicating well throughout the project and offering effective and low-cost solutions to any issues that came up during construction. For example, constructing a boardwalk through the wetland led to some surprising discoveries and the original building plan turned out to be unfeasible. HPM smoothly transitioned to a new plan, working with the engineer to field design a spread footer based on actual soil conditions, completing the work with no cost increase. The HPM team also went above and beyond to adjust the schedule so that we could remove fish from the ponds prior to dredging. Their sensitivity to the park’s riparian areas and wildlife habitat was very appreciated. Working with HPM was an excellent experience that made our park project a great success!

HPM’s performance on this project was exemplary, including addressing the challenges arising from the COVID-19 outbreak and the associated restriction with the State pandemic protocols. Despite these numerous challenges, the constructed Dickens Farm Nature Area project was awarded the American Public Works Association – Colorado Chapter Large Park or Trail Project of 2020. The City plans to submit this project for a national award from APWA in 2021!
