Project Overview
As part of a larger effort to expand critical wastewater infrastructure for the growing Ridgegate community south of Denver, HPM constructed the Ridgegate 1st Street Lift Station. This project involved excavation to the depth of 40 feet and placement of over 500 cubic yards of structural concrete for the wet well. HPM installed three submersible pumps (with capacity for two future units), along with flow meters, valves, and yard piping. The scope also included a generator for backup power, a biofilter for odor control, and a building to house the electrical system. HPM self-performed a majority of this project, including all excavation, structural concrete, mechanical, and yard piping work, while coordinating closely with other ongoing contracts to streamline logistics and ensure smooth project delivery. Additional work included site drainage, force main connections, and new asphalt access roads and parking areas.
