Project Overview
This $17.4M project consists of the construction of critical water infrastructure improvements designed to enhance long-term water storage, transmission and distribution capabilities for the Ft. Lupton community in Colorado. Scope of work includes construction of a new 1,000,000-gallon elevated water storage tank featuring a welded steel vessel supported by a reinforced concrete foundation, complete with internal piping systems, protective coatings and associated civil/site improvements. The elevated tank is designed to improve system reliability, operational redundancy and water pressure throughout the service area.
In addition to the storage tank, the project includes construction of a new pump station and installation of approximately 17,568 linear feet of 20-inch PVC transmission main with all associated valves, fittings, connections and appurtenances required to support efficient water pumping, storage and distribution operations.
